We conceptualize and produce free community events such as the Festival Tribeca ART+CULTURE NIGHT.
Through project grants and other resources, we support and facilitate the organization of existing or new neighborhood events.
We keep a calendar of existing events taking place in the neighborhood.
We seek to create opportunities for members of the Tribeca community to meet, network and collaborate. We provide resources for community members through our local events calendar, map, social media, and Tribeca Radio. The Initiative seeks to create awareness of who/what is here, what is going on in and around Tribeca and the neighborhood’s history.
We seek to be the place to go to get information about Art to help residents, businesses and visitors navigate Tribeca cultural scene. We offer an inclusive neighborhood directory of all arts spaces and organizations. To facilitate access to these venues, we produce a map of the Arts District. We consolidate information about exhibition openings and art events in our calendar to make this information easier to access for those who plan to explore the neighborhood vibrant cultural scene. We connect small arts businesses with necessary resources in the neighborhood. Our goal is to provide an “All in one place” platform for the Arts.
Whether it is producing marketing materials, executing communication campaigns, providing District deals, or hosting public forums on topics of interest, we support the business development of our local economic, cultural and social tissue. Through the promotion of our local culture, we aim to expand Tribeca’s geographical reach, make Tribeca a destination for local & international tourism and support the local economy.
As our community continues to reinvent itself year-in and year-out, we must ensure our public realm is just as inviting and engaging as our places of culture and business. We support local organizations and residents, in their efforts to revitalize and reinvigorate local public spaces and make them places of community gathering.
